The Providence Phenomenon
A downloadable game for Windows
We highly recommend you download the latest .zip file and play the .exe listed below instead of the Web Version of this game. It looks and plays better.
Dev Note: This project is a Work in Progress, there are a few bugs... but that is the nature of a game jam, we did the best we could with the resources and time we had. The game is playable, and is close to our vision but it still needs work to live up to our original expectation, and so we will try to add the features and polish we want after the voting has been completed. We wanted a more extended ending sequence with a puzzle, but had to reduce that ending section to dialogue choices for the sake of completion during the 2 week time limit.
The Premise: The ice-hauling vessel Providence, docked on Asteroid 24 Themis, has entered a quarantine state following the discovery of two suspicious deaths on board. The ship's emergency protocol has been activated, and the crew is confined until further inspection. The objective of this investigation is to identify the culprits behind the homicides, determine the motive, and apprehend the suspect if possible.

looks amazing - well done. Will check it out - thanks!
Very nice, intriguing and atmospheric!
nice
Hey, you got something there! While it is in rough state right now, it looks more polished that a lot of simple 2d games in the same jam, and you made it 3d, with dialogs and ship layout, AI talking head and a bunch of characters. If you polish it up, make use of all the different characters, have player cross-reference some witness testimonies and trying to outsmart the AI, I will be happy to buy the full version! The writing is a bit naive, but the there is talent shining through. It is so strange to see no comments here, I think this game is head and shoulders above most of the other contestants
